Adam Trickett :debian: :kde:<p>I've a couple of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mac</span></a> Minis (2014) that are for scrap, how do I force them to boot from a USB key so I can install <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Debian</span></a> on them?</p><p>I can get into the system rescue thingy but I can't make it boot from there.</p><p>Holding Alt on a PC keyboard doesn't give me a boot menu like every one says...</p><p>They are pretty worthless as Macs but could be useful running <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> on a project, being small.</p>
